Volunteering Event @ GLIDE 10/28/2011 3:30-5:30pm

GGU Accounting Club will be volunteering at GLIDE’s Daily Free Meals Program on Friday October 28 , 2011 from 3:30pm to 5:30pm.

Our work: In a typical service shift, volunteers prepare trays and hand them to clients; those manning the floor collect trays, refill beverage pitchers, hand out condiments and wipe down tables. Most importantly, your group will serve as a friendly and warm presence for our clients. The work is simple, but the value is far greater! After your volunteer service you are invited to dine with us. In the event that you choose to dine with us, we request a donation of $2.00 per person however no volunteer will be turned away for lack of funds.

Where: Glide is located at 330 Ellis at the corner of Ellis & Taylor. Directions to Glide can be found at

http://www.glide.org/contactus#parking

Note: If you are interested and would like to participate, please email us at ggu.acctg@gmail.com and we will provide you with more details.
