Relay for Life

Relay for Life is an event that unites our communities in a common effort to raise the much needed funds for cancer research, education, advocacy, and patient services. Every year, the funds raised by volunteers (including Golden Gate University’s Accounting Club) help bring the American Cancer Society one step closer to eliminating cancer.

Thank you all for the generous donations you made to the Chi Pi Alpha officers fundraising campaign on behalf of the American Cancer Society. We are excited to report that we raised a total of $525 from our GGU membership, and $500 from sources outside the school. The GGU Student Government Association also supported our efforts with a $100 donation.

Accounting Career Fair

Recruiters from major Bay Area accounting firms and government agencies were on campus to recruit GGU accounting students. This recruiting event was held in San Francisco, on September 23, 2005.
