Message from the California State Auditor:

The California State Auditor’s Recruiter will be attending the Golden Gate University Career Fair on Friday, September 28, 2007. We invite you to meet us and discuss a challenging and rewarding career with our office.

As an Auditor Evaluator with the California State Auditor’s office, you could become part of a team charged with investigating an allegation of corruption and/or mismanagement, or assigned to evaluate a multi-billion dollar public organization and recommend program and policy improvements. We are seeking motivated students who are within a year of graduating with degrees in Accounting/Business/Finance/Economics/MBA/MPP and MPA.

Accounting Career Fair – Sep 28, 2007

The Accounting Career Fair is the largest annual recruiting event for accounting students sponsored by GGU Career and Internship Services and the Accounting Department. Official event sponsors include Roger Philipp CPA Review, Becker CPA Review, and California Society of Certified Public Accountants. This recruiting event seeks to connect students with employers from government and major Bay Area accounting firms. We at Chi Pi Alpha encourage all interested students to attend. Registration for the fair is required.

Tax Career Fair – Sep 20, 2007

The Tax Career Fair is sponsored by Becker CPA Review, GGU Career and Internship Services and the School of Taxation. This recruiting event seeks to connect GGU students and alumni with employers from government and major Bay Area accounting firms. For more details about the attending firms, be sure to check out the Tax Career Fair Employer Guide.

We at Chi Pi Alpha encourage all interested students to attend the event, meet recruiters, learn more about the firms and make a strong first impression. Remember to dress professionally and bring plenty of copies of your resume. Registration for the fair is required, and is only open to MS Tax and LLM tax students and alumni.

Thursday, Sept. 20, 3-5 pm

MS in Taxation students and alumni are welcome in the first hour (3-4 pm)

LLM in Taxation students and alumni welcome after 4 pm.
