Scholarship Opportunity for Female Finance and Accounting Majors

The Financial Women’s Association of San Francisco is offering scholarship opportunities for San Francisco Bay Area women pursuing careers in finance or financial services. The scholarship award is $10,000 for Graduate Students and $5,000 for Undergraduate Students. To be eligible, applicants must maintain a GPA of 3.4 or equivalent. The deadline to apply is March 17, 2008.  Additional criteria is provided on their website at www.fwasfscholarshipfund.org.

Our first event of the year is the 2008 Bay Area Student Summit, next Saturday, February 9th from 9:00am to 2:30pm. This event will include a Career Fair, Networking Social, and Presentations with representatives from Deloitte & Touche, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Goldman Sachs & Co. and more.
